The "PEN" in PEN Engineering is an abbreviation for Penobscot Bay in Maine, which is where my grandfather, my mother, and I have all spent all or part of countless fantastic summers.  Now my wife and kids get to enjoy it when we can break free.  To me, it represents family, togetherness, and a slower pace of life.  

 

The company logo comes from some maps that show the 2 lines on the left as shipping channels.  The line on the right is the “road less traveled”, but it’s easily the most scenic.   The three lines represent our 3 kids, and the different paths that they can take in life.  Each will lead to something special.
